Day 3 of 30 Day Challenge

DATE: Feb. 13, 2013

WEIGHT: 150.4


Protein shake for breakfast and lunch.  I was bad for supper.  I don't know why, but I feel like I was good for breakfast and lunch so I feel that I should reward myself.  SO NOT TRUE!!!!  All that does is destroy the hard work I did all day!  Grrrr...It's good that I am "Journaling" about it though, because now I can sit down and think about it and think about change and what I need to do differently.  I know I already thought about change; but, it will be in the back of my head tomorrow when deciding on supper.  I can do this!  I WANT to be healthy from the inside out!  I WANT to show myself and others that I CAN do this!!!!  Baby step backwards, but imperfect progress forward...I could have eaten bad all day, but I did not.  I will do better tomorrow!!!!!!

Day 2 of 30 day Challenge

DATE: Feb. 12, 2013

WEIGHT: 152.8

     I stuck with my breakfast and lunch.  I made an Arbonne protein shake with a scoop of peanut butter.  I thought it would make it taste really good...and it did; but, it also made it a lot thicker.  I was not a huge fan of the thickness, so I either need to find a way to thin it out or I will have to stick with just the plain chocolate. 

    I did cheat a tiny bit at dinner.  We had Chick-fil-A because I had a softball game to work.  I did get 8 nuggets; BUT, instead of fries, I got fruit!!!!  Score one for moving in the right direction!!!!

   I also am trying to get my whole family to eat healthier.  I have been trying to find healthier recipes that still taste good. I found a recipe for  whole wheat pancakes.  It was REALLY good!  Credit to 100 Days of Real Food!   She has some excellent recipes!!!  She also has a recipe for Fruit Smoothies that the girls LOVED!!!!!  I added a scoop of Arbonne Fiber Boost to it also!  They gobbled it up!!!!
SO PROUD!!!! :)  Eating healthy can taste good! :)

Day 1 of 30 Day Challenge: Let's Get This Started

I did a great job sticking to the plan today :) I had a protein shake for breakfast and lunch. (I have tried having a protein shake for breakfast and lunch before, and would end up starving!!! But, it's not like that with these shakes...They keep me full until the next meal. I am thoroughly impressed!) I took my vitamins, etc. also. I feel good when I stick with the plan; but, when something go wrong, or something like that...it is so much easier to just go through a drive thru. But, I am sticking with the plan! I don't want to pass on bad eating habits to Chrissly. I want her to learn good eating habits from the get-go. I also want to be able to have another baby soon; but, I don't want all the health complications I had last time because of my weight. I also have problems with "pains" in my body that I know would not exist if I was healthier.

Introductions

Hi! My name is Christel Garcia! I am a new Stay at Home Mom, trying my hardest to make life changes for the better!!! Growing up I have always had trouble with eating/food. If something good happened in my life, I EAT!!!! If something bad happens, I EAT!!!! If I am bored, I EAT!!! It's something that I struggle with, but have decided that I do not want it to control me! I want to make a change! I do NOT want to pass on my bad habits with food to my daughter!!!! I have recently joined the Arbonne family! Every month I learn more and more about products and food that my family and I were using that have ingredients that are NOT something that I want my family in contact with. The more I learn, the more I want to change. Therefore, I am starting this journey! At this time, I currently weigh 255. I am 5'10" In the past few months, my weight has been on a roller coaster...up, down, up , down. I was down to 240 before, but now I am back up. I now intend to focus with "gazelle intensity" on that number only going down!!! LET'S DO THIS!!!!!
